Billings, Mont., volunteer and athlete. Alice Mary Hovland was born on 22 Oct. 1908. She married Ingemann R. Hovland sometime before 1940 when they first appear in the Billings city directory. Hovland was very active in community affairs. She was president of the St. Patrick's Alter Society in 1949. She belonged to the "500" Card Club and, in 1953, the Boot Hill Arts & Craft Club.
